“A New Wave in the Performing Arts”
The Busan International Performing Arts Market (BPAM), a global performing arts platform, is celebrating its 4th edition this year.
Over the years, BPAM has faithfully served as a bridge for introducing outstanding performing arts productions from Korea and abroad, while promoting their distribution and exchange.
At the same time, it has continued to grow as a festival-style market where citizens can experience the inspiration of diverse performances and enjoy the arts together.
This year as well, through close networking and collaboration among performing arts professionals from around the world,
BPAM aims to expand the circulation of outstanding works and contribute to building a sustainable performing arts ecosystem.
In addition, BPAM will take place around Haeundae, one of the most iconic areas of Busan and a symbol of the city’s maritime identity, allowing visitors to experience not only exceptional performances but also Busan’s unique urban sensibility.
Moving forward, we will continue striving to discover high-quality performing arts productions and enhance the brand value of Busan as a “Performing Arts City.”
